Gros Morne National Park, Newfoundland

Lobster Cove Head Light House

View from Norris Point

Tablelands Interpretive Hike:
Tablelands is one of only a couple places in the world where the earth's mantle can been seen. It is one of the reasons Gros Morne NP is a UNESCO World Heritage Site.
You can see the mantle on the left hand side of this picture.
The road and valley is a good divider between normal land, covered in green on the right, and the mantle, the reddish colour on the left.

The Hike up Gros Morne

View of the way up and a ptarmigan living at the top. The top of the mountain is arctic tundra.
